Nostr Profile
Your profile is pulled from Nostr. IndieSats uses the lightning address from your profile to receive sats — no mandatory fee. Your profile name and picture become your Artist name. All tracks are published to Nostr from this profile and appear in your RSS feed.
You can change your profile info anytime and it updates everywhere automatically. Splits, cover art, and audio files are set per track at publish time.

Split sats with band members, producers, or collaborators. Add their Lightning address and percentage. Remainder goes to your profile address.

Keysend only works if you run your own Lightning node (LND, Core Lightning, etc.) or use Alby Hub. If your node is offline, payments fail.
Publish
We sign a single Nostr event and broadcast it to your relays (and ours as fallback). Your track lives on Nostr relays.
An RSS feed is automatically generated for your profile — compatible with podcast apps and music players.
We do not store your Private Nostr Key.
