1. You Own Your Content

You may only upload music and content that you own or have permission to share. Do not upload copyrighted material you don't have rights to. IndieSats is for independent artists sharing their own work.

2. Lightning Address = Your Identity

When you publish without a Nostr account, your lightning address is your identifier. If you repeatedly upload infringing content, we will permanently ban this lightning address from using IndieSats.

3. DMCA & Takedowns

If you believe content on IndieSats infringes your copyright, contact us:

Include: (1) your contact info, (2) the infringing content URL, (3) proof you own the copyright.

4. Infringing Content

Verified copyright violations result in the content being removed from IndieSats relays. We do not ban lightning addresses — we simply stop propagating infringing content. Artists may continue using the platform for their original work.

5. What IndieSats Is Not

We don't host audio files. We publish metadata to Nostr relays. We're not a record label, distributor, or rights holder. We make no guarantees about uptime, availability, or content moderation.

6. No Liability

IndieSats is provided "as is." We are not liable for user-uploaded content, lost sats, relay failures, or any damages arising from use of the platform.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
